Applications for admission must be submitted in the prescribed form (s). Two copies of passport size photo-graph, photocopies of all academic certificates, transcripts / mark certificates, testimonials, nationality certificate and recommendation of reference duly attested by the Head of the Department from which the applicant received his past degree, must be submitted along with the application. Certificate of proficiency in English is also required to be submitted along with the application.

The application must be submitted through the Bangladesh Mission / Embassy /High commission of the applicant's native country for onward transmission to the Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.

Candidate shall have to submit a health certificate to the effect that he / she is not suffering from any communicable / contagious disease(s) or such disorders, mental or physical, which may impede his/her curricular activities at this University.

After final selection, a confirmation letter will be sent to the candidate. A foreign student should not proceed to Bangladesh until his / her admission is confirmed.

After final selection a student is required to report to the department concerned prior to the commencement of the term.

At the time of admission a candidate will be required to pay US $ 200 for MS and US $ 400 for Ph.D. programs as admission fees. In addition to admission fees an MS and Ph.D. student shall pay US $ 100 as tuition & other fees per term. A candidate shall have to produce the original copies of all certificates / mark certificates etc. at the time of admission.

Accommodation for the foreign students is available in the dormitory at a nominal cost of US $ 10 per month.
Food, clothing & stationary etc will be arranged separately by the students themselves. Monthly minimum expenditure will be approx. US $ 80.00 (eighty) only.

Research cost is expected to range from US$ 1000-$1500 for MS and $ 3000-4000 for Ph.D. program. The entire research cost will be borne by the student or his/her sponsoring authority.
